Several Latin players have been revolutionary actors in MLB in recent days, such as Luis Castillo or more recently David Peralta from Venezuela.

And while everyone is waiting for Juan Soto’s fate to be resolved, the Washington Nationals may be holding off on closing a deal for the Dominican outfielder.

These are five other Latinos who could change teams before the Major League trade deadline.

The Venezuelan right-hander for the Miami Marlins is having an excellent campaign and is among the most likely to be traded for the club that announced Sandy Alcántara as the only non-contact. Not counting his departure this Sunday, Lopez is 7-5 in 20 innings, posting a 3.03 ERA and adding 118 strikeouts and 35 walks in 116.0 innings pitched. In his debut with the Mets, the 26-year-old right-hander matched a career high and surpassed his career bests in innings and hitting.
